This course continues our overview of the Old Testament by exploring the Wisdom Books from Job through Song of Solomon. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these books reveal God's wisdom for faithful living, teaching us to trust Him in suffering, worship Him wholeheartedly, pursue godly wisdom, find lasting meaning in Him, and honor Him in every season of life.

This course explores God's design for parenting by providing biblical principles and practical wisdom for every stage of raising children. Participants will learn how to shepherd their children's hearts, cultivate a Christ-centered home, apply loving discipline and instruction, and faithfully point their children to the gospel while navigating the unique challenges of each season of parenthood.

Financial Peace University is a practical personal finance course grounded in biblical principles and designed to help people at every financial stage manage their finances with wisdom, confidence, and purpose. Whether you desire to become a better steward of the resources God has entrusted to you, are living paycheck to paycheck, looking to create a better plan for retirement, or simply want greater peace and confidence in your finances, we invite you to join us.
The class will be led by one of our church members, Jason Brown. This 10-session course will meet on select Sundays from August 23 through November 15, 2026, from 4:00–5:00 p.m. in the Harbor Room. Childcare is provided and included in the registration fee.

How the Class Works
Participants should plan to watch an approximately 45-minute video lesson online before each class. Our time together will be used to discuss the lesson, answer questions, complete activities, and apply what we are learning to everyday financial decisions.
Participants may miss up to two in-person classes and still graduate from the course. All lesson videos and class materials are available online, so any class missed in person can be completed at home.

This class is designed for those who have made a profession of faith and are interested in joining our Church as a formal member. Over the course of four sessions, we walk through the bible’s story revealing God’s unfolding purpose to have a defined group of people he’s called to bear his image. We review the core christian beliefs contained in the Member’s Statement of Faith, which form the foundation of our elders’ teaching in the Elder Statement of Faith. We provide important information that explains what it means to belong to, and participate in, the life of the church here at Vine. We conclude by walking through our Member Covenant, which clearly defines the commitments we make as members of the church to one another. Overall, this series is intended to help prospective members understand what it means to belong to Christ, and therefore to one another as members in his Church.
