Growing together.
Rooted in Christ.

Vine Women strives to cultivate a vibrant, God-honoring, servant-oriented community of women who actively pursue God together. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections across generations, building relationships that reflect the guidance of Titus 2:3–5. We aim to provide a safe and welcoming space where women of all ages can be open about their needs, engage in honest conversations about faith and growth, and find spiritual and emotional renewal.

Our Vision

In all we do, we seek to support and align with the mission of the church, discerning how our activities, studies, prayers, and training contribute to that purpose. As we encourage one another through God’s Word, we desire to grow in godliness, prayerfulness, and maturity, serving both the church and its leaders while bringing glory to God in all things.

Good News
& Events

We have enjoyed brunches, Bible and book studies, workshops, and most recently a beautiful evening together feasting on delicious home-made cuisine and swapping recipes.

At this event we shared some recommended Bible Study resources and a Bible study guide inspired Jen Wilkin’s book “Women of the Word,” which is available for a suggested donation at our resource area in the lobby. The Bible study guides are available there as well, and are free!

A PERSONAL TESTIMONY A Story of Prayer & Hope By Katie Keown

On August 4th, my world changed when my daughter was diagnosed with preeclampsia. As a mother, hearing that something was wrong with my child was frightening and overwhelming. My heart was filled with worry, and all I wanted was for my daughter and her baby to be okay. There are moments in life when we feel helpless, when we don't know what to do or what the future holds. This was one of those moments for me.

But even in the midst of my fear, I knew where I could turn. I turned to God.

I submitted a prayer request on Vine's app for my daughter, believing that God heard my prayers and that nothing was impossible for Him. I asked Him to touch her body, strengthen her, protect her unborn baby, and bring healing to them both. I placed my fears, my worries, and my daughter's life in His hands. Although I could not control what was happening, I knew I could pray, stand on my faith, and trust God through the uncertainty.

After submitting that prayer request, I witnessed what I believe was God's healing power at work in my daughter's life. Within the first week, she had no related symptoms. Her doctor, home nurse, and the ultrasound tech were amazed that all symptoms seemed to disappear. My heart was filled with gratitude, and my faith was strengthened. What began as a frightening experience became a testimony that I will always carry with me. It reminded me that even when life takes an unexpected turn, we can turn to God in prayer and find strength to face the unknown.

Then came September 9th, a day that filled my heart with a joy I cannot fully put into words. My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, and by the grace of God, both she and her precious son came through delivery with zero complications. After the fear and uncertainty we had faced on August 4th, seeing my daughter deliver her baby safely was a blessing beyond measure. What a beautiful reminder of how quickly a season of worry can turn into a moment of overwhelming gratitude!

As I look back on this journey, I cannot help but thank God for carrying us through it. For me, this experience became a powerful testimony of faith, hope, and the importance of prayer. I am learning to trust God even when I cannot see how things will work out and I am reminded that we can bring our deepest fears, our most desperate needs, and our greatest hopes to God in prayer.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with you. My prayer is that my testimony will encourage another mother, grandmother, or family member who may be facing a frightening medical situation. Keep praying. Keep believing. Hold on to hope, even when the road ahead feels uncertain. You don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but you can seek God for strength and peace through every step.

To God be all the glory!

Books in a warm library

What We're
Reading

Bible and book studies, including resources inspired by Jen Wilkin’s “Women of the Word.”

The book is available for a suggested donation in the resource area of the church lobby, and the Bible study guides are free.

FEATURED BIBLE STUDY The Way of Wisdom

The Way of Wisdom is a study of the book of Proverbs that includes eight sessions with video access. It’s both deep and impactful and covers not just the wisdom in Proverbs and how to apply it to our lives, but the wisdom from many other books of the Bible as well.

In this study, six authors present wisdom in ways that stir up a desire for more wisdom in every area of our lives. You’ll read and study about wisdom in your words, friendships, your neighborliness, your home, work, wealth and leadership.

This is such an encouraging study on how to grow in wisdom and how to apply it so that our lives are a portrait of wisdom for God’s glory!

Potluck

What We're
Making

From homemade recipes shared around the table to creative projects and workshops, we love finding ways to gather and create together.

FALL RECIPE Homemade Apple Cider

Ladies, fall is here, and it's the perfect time to gather! This homemade apple cider simmers on the stove (or in the slow cooker) while your house fills with the coziest smell. Make a big pot, invite a friend over, and take time to catch up. Some of the best conversations happen over a warm mug.

Ingredients

  • 10–12 sweet apples, a mix of Honeycrisp, Gala, Granny Smith, Fuji or whatever you have on hand
  • 1 orange quartered, peel on—or use orange slices and orange peel
  • 3–4 cinnamon sticks or more to place cinnamon sticks in the mugs before serving
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves (or ¾ teaspoon ground cloves)
  • 1 tablespoon allspice berries or 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1–2 star anise (optional)
  • 8 cups hot water or enough to cover fruit by 2"
  • ½ cup brown sugar or sweeten to taste (maple syrup is a great swap)
  • Optional: lemon peel or lemon zest for a hint of citrus flavor

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the apples and slices of orange—no need to peel or core. Just remove any stickers and rinse. Add apples, citrus, mulling spices, brown sugar, and water to a large pot or medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer uncovered for about 2 hours. Your entire house will smell incredible!
  2. Mash the softened fruit with a slotted spoon or potato masher to release the juices. Simmer another 30–45 minutes.
  3. Carefully strain through a fine strainer or coffee filter into a clean bowl or pitcher. Discard the solids.
  4. Ladle into mugs. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat gently when ready.

Notes

Crock pot method: Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and cook on low 6–8 hours or high 3–4 hours.
